Reforestation in the Sahelian zone

Reforestation and awareness of the problem of deforestation and the advance of the desert in Senegal:

 

Creation of the association Brigades Vertes , founded by Fabien Tournan and Stéphane Fall , in 2005 , has been in operation for more than 15 years.

  • Reforestation in schools,

  • Awareness program in schools,

  • Collaboration with Haidar El Ali (Former Minister of Ecology in Senegal) of the Oceanium, since 2004 until now

  • Collaboration with the military Prytaneum of St Louis of Senegal for reforestation in the northern region,

  • Installation of four Nurseries located in Senegal,

  • More than fifty reforested schools,

  • More than 20,000 trees planted in schools and rural communities.
