Holistic land management
ECOLOGICAL TRANSITION TOOLS
Strategy and action plan
DEFINE THE PROJECT

Support for organizations for the ecological transition of territories
Step 1 - Strategic approach
Strategic choices for an ecological transition of territories
Analysis of the social, environmental and economic landscape.
Identify resources and means (human, financial and material).
Establish a global strategy in the ecology of the territory.
( Integrate the challenges of food security and energy, waste management and recycling)
Step 2 - Operational approach
Action plan to implement the global strategy
Set goals for each project.
Train stakeholders, and education stakeholders.
Implement a circular economy.
Model monitoring and evaluation tools.
(Provide control and adjustment points)
- Step 1: "STRATEGY"
Reading the landscape
Extract structural elements
INTERCONNECTION of the different sectors

Step 2 - OPERATIONAL
Sample action plan
"Tarterets" district Corbeil-Essonne (91)
Holistic land management,
a pacification tool at the service of people and the environment
Provide a relevant response to the environmental and social challenges of the 21st century.
The implementation of ecological transition tools is first of all to recreate the social link around a common project.
This project begins with the collective creation of a garden according to the principles of permaculture ...
The roadmap methodology begins with a multi-level training cycle (from citizens to elected officials, including municipal staff) with the monitoring of participatory, citizen, intergenerational and interfaith projects.
Upstream of the realization, the actors participating in the project are trained. True citizens' relays, they co-create and co-create actions for the holistic management of territories. These actions cover many angles of overlapping approaches that are dependent or independent of each other:
Training for all audiences in education in ecology, sustainable development, ecological transition tools as well as
that at holistic project management.
The establishment of production spaces in participatory citizen sites to set up quickly and
federate the general public.
Support the municipalities and contribute to the food security of the territories through the creation and management of spaces
training pilots, food production and seed production.
The development of insertion and food production gardens to fuel integration projects through the
food production from the gardens (processing, cooked meals, etc.).
Training and support for associations, municipal staff, people in conversion and
professionals in transition organic, to be implemented in all possible territories.
The creation of associative and collaborative relays to continue and make viable the projects put in place, reproduce conclusive experiences.
Support for individuals, with a piece of garden or a balcony, towards food self-sufficiency according to their
field and its available time.
Support the municipalities and contribute to citizen gardens (shared, social ).
Food production in schools and raising awareness among young people for the E3D labeling of
schools - creation of a permaculture and educational garden.
The establishment of a short, medium and long-term roadmap to implement the ecological transition from an educational garden by motivating and federating the local fabric.
The integration of people with disabilities in therapeutic gardens adapted for production purposes to fuel economic integration and circular economy projects.

Train, launch participatory projects and make long-term projects viable
Social and environmental objectives: Boost a local social and economic project by creating an educational garden according to the principles of permaculture in order to recreate social ties and neighborhood life, by integrating the environmental issue.
The action plan, in order to meet the objectives set by the principal, is divided into five parts which are the subject of training and participatory projects.

Social and environmental objectives: Boost a local social and economic project through the creation of an educational garden according to the principles of permaculture in order to recreate the social link, a neighborhood life by integrating the environmental issue.
The action plan, in order to meet these objectives set by the principal, is divided into five parts which are the subject of training and participatory projects.
Step 1 - Training: Education
Training in setting up an EDD (Education for Sustainable Development) program to obtain “E3D” labels in schools.
Case study at the college of Multifao (Corsica), of an integration of an ecology project, the recycling of food waste and food production within an educational establishment.
The areas studied relate to:
The establishment of a citizen collective to reflect on ecological problems; - the development of solutions and their implementation works on a college and home scale.
The design and creation of a pilot food production garden within the school.
The realization of a recycling unit, biowaste by sorting, composting and / or vermicomposting, and inhabited by "recycling hens".
The mobilization of "eco-delegates" to raise awareness and guide the process of all students and stakeholders schools.
Taking into account the health crisis by adapting the program outside.
Step 2 - Training: The production and food security of the territories through permaculture
Case study of the “Listin'Core pilot center” (Corsica) training center and laboratory for food self-sufficiency in regions.
The areas studied relate to:
- Reading the landscape of a territory,
- The highlighting of its structural and present elements,
- Evaluation of potential resources
- Collective or concerted preparation of an action plan
- Searching for answers, gathering them by theme to prioritize them in stages;
- The implementation of the global and flexible action plan or even evolving in stages.
Step 3 - Training: Food production in schools
Case study of a pilot project for the integration of a long-term ESD education program (3 years) with the objective of food production - nursery school, primary school and “Jacques Majorelle” middle school of the Mission Laïque Française. The areas studied relate to:
- Awareness of systematic reduction of food waste within the establishment;
- The establishment of sorting?
- Education in the consumption and appreciation of unprocessed foods through cultivation, maintenance and harvesting of the vegetable which gradually becomes or becomes a friend in the canteen and no longer a tasteless stranger particular (fear of what we do not know leads to rejection),
- Health awareness - act on health / nutrition by introducing children to vegetables,
- The development of autonomy among young people in their learning process by giving them new tools allowing them to carry the elements of their program by themselves,
- The means of communication with the administrations, the rectorate, the principals, the teachers and the parents,
- The promotion and transversality of work in correspondence with school programs between teachers and ESD stakeholders.
Step 4 - Training: Launch your permaculture garden according to your land and schedule, contribute to citizen gardens (shared, associative)
The areas studied relate to:
- The inventory of the elements necessary for the garden: soil, irrigation, plant cycle, sowing, planning according to the seasons; (materials, equipment),
- The design and installation of the garden: model and start of integration,
- The management of social cohesion by practical work in the garden which is intended to have an educational impact in the (various) working-class neighborhoods mixing everyone's expectations: contribution of people trained to create their personal garden, to the dynamism of the pilot garden as an awakening tool. available to neighborhood associations, and which constitutes an educational annex for schools,
- The creation of a local fabric for the exchange of knowledge and skills in food production.
Step 5 - Training: Establishment of a short, medium and long term roadmap from an educational garden
The garden is intended to encourage and promote the creation of jobs and activities within the district, it constitutes a support tool for students who drop out of school and offers a place of training for people in reintegration. It helps to integrate sustainable development levers for the territory, it forms a model base to eventually allow the multiplication of other gardens and educational islands within the districts of the municipality and the communities of municipalities. It is a tool of pacification, creator of social bond.
The axes studied are:
- The inventory of fixtures and the elements present, highlighting the issues within the neighborhood: the strengths and weaknesses,
- Diagnosis of internal resources: human resources, budgets, expected effects in stages and after stages,
- Planning and implementation of an evolving action plan over the short, medium and long terms,
- The study of project management tools,
- The mapping of the positioning of our partners as well as all the participants in this project.
Step 6: participatory worksite
Step 7
swarming of tools
